Welcome to the Tor D'Kar!
We are a Civilian Trading Outpost. What's that mean exactly you ask. We don't work for Starfleet or the Federation. This gives us a little more wiggle room with certain things that you couldn't get at a Federation station.
For example you want some Romulan Ale, we are more than happy to pour you a glass. You want to watch Orion Dancers we have a place for that. You want to gamble a little or maybe a lot, we can accommodate that as well.
Whether you need to refill you Deuterium reserves, buy that hard to find item, or are just interested in a Rest and Relaxation, you'll find it here.
Even with our 'laxed rules we do have some regulations that are to be followed. If you choose not to our security will have no qualms about making you sure find your way back to your vessel.
We currently have rooms available for Shore leave as well as a few empty shops for rent for vendors and entrepreneurs alike.
We look forward to your business.

Hi Everyone,
I want to let you know that I have tendered my resignation about 5 minutes ago. Let me first let you know it has nothing to do with this simulation; this simulation is awesome. It is an amazing part of Obsidian Fleet, an awesome storyline and you are all great simmers and I encourage you to keep going with your posting.
As you have noticed; I have been quiet of late with my posting. This is because I started my postgraduate Masters of Teaching (Primary) degree this year and unlike my undergraduate degree over the last three years, I have much more on my plate as I am completing six units, and to top onto that I have placement which takes me off-campus for periods at a time where I am actually in a classroom teaching a lesson that I need to write and run myself. It takes a lot of my spare time away and to put more onto that; I work at the university one day a week (and my weekends), so it takes a lot of my simming time away from me and I need to focus on my two commands; one being here in Obsidian Fleet and the other being a command in Bravo Fleet where I am a Task Force Commanding Officer there, and now I am the Director of Fleet Recruitment for Obsidian Fleet.
I really don't want to disadvantage your simulations by holding a position that could be given to someone who could learn something, so I have opted to resign.
I am hoping that once I have finished my degree at the end of the year that I can return in some capacity, either with Richard or with another character and be able to once again join with you all in an amazing storyline.
I thank you for all your time to write with you and I wish you all the best

Everyone please help me welcome our newest resident to the Tor D'Kar, Michael Krislin. I'm sure this will be good for our small business owners, it'll give them an extra customer. And could possibly make Banan's job a little more interesting as well.

Wintrow sighed softly as he sat by the bar, his blue eyes watching everything lazily as he nursed his glass of scotch. He liked this bar. Of course, it was different from the Twilight Lounge, where everything was very decadent. He took another sip, his eyes going to the row…
